Beware of Concussions - They Are Brain Injuries
Concussions may cause physical, cognitive and emotional symptoms. These symptoms will often disappear in about three weeks when there's been sufficient rest following injury. With this sort of injury there may be lack of consciousness of minutes or maybe more and possibly post-amnesia which may last twenty-four hours or less head injuries in car accidents. Loss in consciousness indicates a more severe blow to the pinnacle than if there was none. Concussions are often caused from falls, sports injuries or car accidents.
Headaches are one of the very most common symptoms. Other symptoms can include dizziness, nausea, difficulty with balancing, light sensitivity, blurred vision, confusion, focusing difficulties, disorientation, reasoning problems, concentration, crankiness, tearfulness, inappropriate emotional displays and possibly, but unlikely, convulsions.
