Las Vegas Resorts & Casinos

Las Vegas vacations are set apart by the fantastic luxury hotels you stay in on your visit. Nowhere else in the world do you get as many enormous hotels in such a small space, the choice you have is staggering and when you first see them all from your plane on your approach to the city you can't help but be impressed. You see all the different shapes and sizes and colors being projected from the strip, it makes a great first impression.

Your typical Las Vegas hotel would probably be a luxury 5* hotel in most places, as well as a room with a fantastic view, TV, air conditioning etc. as standard you also have the hotel amenities. We are not just talking about swimming pools here either, it is a tradition in Las Vegas for all the big hotels to try and out do each other and they are permanently thinking of new and crazy ideas to add to their hotels reputation. Some hotels have ice bars in them others have a scaled down version of the Eiffel tower outside them or a volcano ambslot. One hotel was even built in the shape of a pyramid with a huge light beaming out of the top of it that you can see from anywhere in Vegas. The newest tradition however seems to be roller coaster's, the 'New York New York' hotel has a huge one that lasts around 4 minutes go up and down all around the hotel. Others such as the stratosphere have them fitted to the top of the hotel. You are about 50 stories up the air and are hanging off the side of a building on a roller coaster; it is a pretty scary experience. The most impressive of all roller coaster's though has to be in the hotel 'Circus Circus', the 'Adventure Dome' is America's biggest indoor theme park and you are literally riding through the hotel on the roller coaster, it is unbelievable to think this is even possible to do but it is quite an experience.

Aside from all of the gimmicks that Las Vegas hotels have to offer you have the standard things like swimming pools, but in typical Vegas style they aren't just swimming pools, they are huge swimming pools with bars put in the middle of them or blackjack tables in them so you can gamble whilst swimming. They have enormous poolside areas with hundreds of sun beds available and what seems like the most beautiful women in the world all put into one small space. One thing that never lets you down on your Las Vegas vacations is the weather; it is over 100 degrees Fahrenheit on a regular basis in the summer and even in the winter is better than most places summer months. If you ever experience rain there then it is definitely worth a photo as that is a rare occurrence.

Once you have experienced all the hotels have to offer you can then go and take a visit to the casinos in them, if you have ever been to a casino somewhere else in America or the world you will be surprised when you go in a Vegas one, they are about 4 times bigger than most other casinos in the big hotels and have dedicated poker areas the size of a normal casino. If you like gambling you couldn't be in a better place. They sometimes have special deals and free soft drinks for their customers as a way of trying to entice you in and get you to lose all your money. The important thing about a Las Vegas vacation is to have a good time and you can't help but do that in sin city!
